Should power be higher at pedal or trainer?

Now THAT sounds like a waste of time when I could just calibrate the two units to show the same number.

It would be a “waste” of about 3 seconds at the beginning of any indoor workouts.

In your suggested situation, you’d be calibrating one of those units in an environment that you weren’t using it in.

In other words, you’d calibrate your PM indoors to match your trainer and then take it outside, where your FTP is quite possibly different.

Just a suggestion. If you have a better solution then that’s fine. I’m just pointing out that it’s common knowledge that comparing 2 power meter’s numbers isn’t fruitful :slight_smile:
