I will be shipping from one bike shop to another (if possible). I see both 'bikeflights" and “shipmybike” . I’m wondering if one is better than the other. anyone have experience with either or both?
I’ve used Bikeflights numerous times, but when I shipped my last bike, I spoke to someone at Shipbikes, and I like the model they use.
If you’re not in a rush, having them send you the right box(es) that you need can be a huge help, especially if you’ve got big wheels/tires like a 29er MTB (they box them separately from the frame).
Generally speaking, I think the price is comparable. Bikeflights is easier to navigate, but I’d look at both options if you have the time.
I think I have used them both. I usually price both of them and PirateShip and choose the cheapest.
Jenson Shipping was a little cheaper than BikeFlights a couple weeks ago. Worth at least pricing them out…UPS or FedEx really doesn’t matter IMO. Assume both are trying to destroy your bike.
