Selecting “did not attempt”

I do the majority of my TR workouts outside and will often shop around for a workout that matches the profile of the ride I had in mind. Most of the time I’m trying to lengthen the ride or shorten the workout section before I just extend the ride.

If I have three 2x10 with a minute rest sweet spot I’ll just ride 3x20 instead, select did not attempt on the prompt screen, and let the model parse what I did. Today I’m planning on a 1.5 hour climb and am just going to ride that in sweet spot instead of trying to find the right not recommended workout.

The other day my workout was rated at a 5.6 instead of a 5.5 when I realized I just didn’t have 5 min repeats so backed down to 3x2 min for the set instead.

I haven’t figured out if selecting did not attempt is always better but I’m experimenting with modifying workouts on the fly for terrain or how I’m feeling.
