I’ve switched over to the masters plan MV as of last month (I had been following the old SSB LV plan). I’ll be finishing general base II this week, and moving into, surprise surprise, GB III next week. I also intend to take a break from the trainer for 2 weeks over Christmas (and get outside weather permitting) so added the break and selected to adapt the phase around it.
The problem is that the phase stays at 4 weeks, with the 2 week gap in the middle, I’d have thought the obvious thing would be to “pause” it after the first week and a half, then schedule the remainder after the break (letting AT adjust workouts as needed)
Would the best thing be to just slot in another GB III after this one? I’m aiming at a lumpy 140km event at the end of May, so I’ve plenty of time for the build and specialty phases before that.
