Ride Photos / Action Shots!

Ah, I meant switch to tubeless tires; just realized I was missing a word in that post. The Aeolus rims are tubeless-ready, but the Bontrager tires it came with aren’t. I thought they were because they said “TR” and was baffled why they weren’t holding pressure, but turns out the tubeless-ready version is the “TLR” model

nice photos. It was a good ride, shame they had to stick us on the A470 past Pen-y-Fan though!

The Pics are just to expensive for my taste. Would have liked some of the shots but not paying nearly 20 euros per pic or 50 for all of them.

Thanks for the link. I had a great time digging into your technology stack  I’m currently migrating my blog from write.as to a custom static generator, and I might incorporate a few things you’re using. Good luck with the full tri, whenever it is!

A bit annoyed to miss out on a pb for PCC’s Rimes Cup by just 9 secs (with a 58:17 for the 22.3 miles). But given Im 7 years older and the chain came off I guess it’s acceptable :upside_down_face:

The big bonus was 4th time up the 7.8% hill wasnt there, well according to Strava but I sure felt it :joy:

Equal 3rd on Handicap (aka not as slow as I have been). 24.49 on the N3/10 (That’s actually 10.1miles). Keeping aero on the way back and out :open_mouth:

The 200km Rift gravel race in Iceland a couple weeks ago. (33 days after I had collarbone surgery and with 8 cracked ribs.) The photographer at the top told us none of the pros were able to ride this climb.

I wasn’t planning on doing another race this season, but who can turn down a free entry? :stuck_out_tongue: The race was breezy like always and fitness is a bit down (2nd week of my off season before base again). Came in 7th overall, 1:40 behind first place (9.1mi), who was the only one in my age group too haha.

Swinley Forest?

Pitch Hill. I haven’t ridden Swinley since 2019 :open_mouth:

I haven’t been there before, any good?

Pitch Hill? All of the (Surrey)Hills in that location are epic. The best riding in the South. Pitch, Winterfold, Holmbury, Leith etc. Swinley is a bit flat
