Garmin VIRB Edit
It was the combined clubs TT league tonight on the local course and I was able to make it for a change. The only problem I also had a CT scan in the afternoon and was pumped full of chemicals so my time wasn’t great but it was good to see folks and someone managed to catch good action shots.
Looks good though
Admit it, you saw the photog and on the next lap took a flyer for the photo
Haha it would be true if my primary goal were just to not die
A few pictures from my local TT last week
Still struggling to hold quite the same power on the TT/road bike but it seems to be coming up slowly ( first season with a TT bike )
Recovery From Covid took 3-4 weeks from my last race, thankfully the engine started up again just in time for my latest XC marathon. Managed to get the win in a 6 hours category. Really fun and challenging course of 100% dusty dry single track.
Nice shots. Congrats on the win!
Texas TT Championships this weekend. Only have had this bike for 4 months. 40k time was 1:07:05 not quite the day I was hoping for but I think I’m more motivated than if I had podiumed.
Hi there. Cool photos!
Have you had a professional bike fit on this bike?
Just the eye test tells me your position has room for improvement. Saddle height and back angle looking like the most obvious.
I did have a bike fit when I initially bought the bike. I have changed out the arm pads and raised the basebar and subsequently the aero bars since the fit though.
I wasn’t 100% aero (protecting my left elbow on the rough stuff) but I am pleased with a 71s pb, compared to 2017, on the Sporting 25miler at Guilden Morden today and 3mins and 21s faster than last year.

From two weeks ago, placed well in both races:
And then from last weekend, one good race, and one season ender… see if you can guess which:
Hope you’re alright and the damage minimal.
Heal fast and well!!
