My A-race for the first half of the year is going to be a Grinduro. It is 73 miles with 5400 feet of climbing. But the overall is determined based on your time over 4 stages that are between 5 and 15 minutes. So probably at most 40 minutes of actual racing. What plan would you pick? I had been following a plan for a gravel race mid-June, but the event switched more to a gravel fun fest, so going to change to this race in July.
Would a mountain bike plan make more sense? Need to have endurance but actual efforts are going to be short.
