Been listening to him since he was a local radio DJ on CFNY 102.1 in Toronto in the 90s. Great speaker, great historian, great podcast.

I typically get as much out of The Purple Patch as I do from AACC. It is probably #2 (behind AACC) in my favorites.

Just had this one recommended. It’s really good. So far I’ve listened to the Dan Lorang episode but have Joel Filliol, Nino Schuster, Kate Courtney, and Hamish Carter lined up in the playlist.

RP Podcast, Episode 15: Endurance Nutrition and the whole podcast in general if you’re interested in body composition and diet science.

Alex Harrison, Ep. 23, The Professional Athlete Podcast with Ken Gunter and the whole podcast in general. Broad range of sporting and professional topics covered. The episode with Chris Walsh is impressive too. #mancrush.

Latest FasCat podcast is interesting.

S-Town was very good. Serial too. Limetown.

I’d really love some better produced sci-fi or horror series. Theres a lot out now but they’re generally cheesy or too amateur to be immersive. .

I find “Cycling in Alignment” very interesting and of good quality

Another recent discovery, Payson McEelvin’s The Adventure Stache. He has some guests that don’t interest me as much, and of course sometimes you don’t agree with a certain guests opinions.

The show is great though.

I’ve been really enjoying the Geraint Thomas’ podcast, not sure how many more podcasts there will be though, sounds like they are doing seasons.

This is basically Matt Stephens interviewing a professional Cyclist (or other cycling personality) for an hour or so.
Usually I would say it’s quite a boring format, but it’s Matt Stephens so it’s pretty entertaining.

The Gwyneth Paltrow of the cyling world. The last episode on gluten was absolutely disgraceful!

The Chasers’ Cycling podcast :raised_hands:t2::raised_hands:t2::raised_hands:t2:

Agreed, I think Coach Frank took a subtle swipe at the ongoing debate between sweet spot and polarized, scientific studies versus experience, and the need for coaches - all hot topics around here recently.

Thanks for the recommendation, I had a listen and his take seems quite sensible. I also like the relationship episode for Valentine’s Day. :+1:

OUCH but sometimes, I agree. He needs a guest who he talks to. The solo ones are often not good at all. And you need to listen to it at 3x speed.

UNRAVELED - all about the unsolved case of the long island serial killer. super weird chain of events. Starts off with some heroin kid looking for money that ends up robbing the house of the chief of police and takes a duffle bag with a buttplug and pornos in it…

Lanterne Rouge - cycling podcast. The best. Make sure you check out the youtube. Old school race analysis vids are top shelf. But also analyzes current races and usually has them up within an hour of the finish. He has a great grasp on the history of cycling and can overlap it on top of current events and riders.

The Apology Line - A NYC artist in the 80’s had a phone line where people could call up and leave messages, apologies for things they’ve done. The artists ends up befriending a serial killer.

Geraint Thomas Cycling Club - One topic each week. Not bad. Feels a bit scripted but some good guests for each topic.

Watts Occuring - Luke Rowe and Geraint Thomas. They can be pretty funny when they are just taking cracks at each other.

Fast Talk - One of the best for training related deep dives.

McMillions - Incredible story about how people cheated the McDonald’s monopoly game. Watch the show. Some real characters.

That’s all for now.
