Has anybody seen/used the new Route Builder on Strava? I’m still seeing the older version. Any way to force the new version to load? ---

The release stated the new builder would be coming over “the next few months”, so who knows when we will actually see it 🤷‍♂️ ---

Wondering if the new map has any changes in regards to gravel routes and planning. Some gravel roads just don’t work altogether with Strava’s route planning, and occasionally even well ridden tarmac won’t work either. Near me there’s a climbing stretch of tarmac about 3 miles long, but for some reason, Strava makes me manually route it despite hundreds of cyclists, and even the Tour Of Utah riding up the exact stretch of road. It seems like their algorithm to determine an actively used route needs to be more than just a heatmap, because it’s definitely a busy road for cyclists. All other route planners has worked for it, but Strava never has. It always tries to re-route me onto a long mtb trail instead. I might do a free trial and see if there are any changes to these types of routes. ---

I am working on some gravel routes that follow roads I know are open and accessible. It’s cool because it shows dirt/gravel roads different from pavement. There appears to be a 3rd category of unknown surface too.
