Those exist where they are appropriate for the goals of the plan. If they arenโ€™t in the plan of your choosing, you can always swap an appropriate one in. Much easier now with Workout Levels.

That looks like a bug. Weโ€™ll look into it and fix now!

Check with me in a few weeks to make sure im still standing (joking of course, im stoked!)

Looks like the fix has gone through (Galena is now Galena -2 (also Galena -2 looks easier than Eichorn +2 though they are the same pl)), but now there are two 5.8wl SS workouts next to each other in week 5 of SSB LV1.

Maybe thatโ€™s intended - Leconte is the next workout, but it feels like Galena -2 and Eichorn +2 shouldnโ€™t be the same wl.

At the moment do Free Ride workouts feed into an athleteโ€™s history with respect to Train Now?

Most of my steady endurance/tempo rides are done that way and the Endurance workouts in Train Now look too easy as if these steady efforts are not taken into account. Iโ€™m not in the beta however.

Iโ€™m guessing that free ride might be like outdoor rides and be added to the ML analysis at a future date.

Updated! And my Thursday went from a frightening looking 7.2 VO2max to a 6.3. Thanks, even if Iโ€™ll still be cursing yaโ€™ll in a few days regardless!

Yeah, these Free Ride workouts would have to be seen as โ€œunstructured ridesโ€ since there is no target to compare against your power data. Itโ€™s impossible to succeed or fail when there is no โ€œtargetโ€.

If possible, until TR pulls info from those types of โ€œunstructured ridesโ€, you may be better to pick the closest endurance workout for duration and intensity, and then perform it via Resistance to your preferred levels. It would likely be best if you picked one that is lower than your intended effort, but that is a guess based on what I think it will be looking at WRT you either hitting, being high, or low compared to the regular workout targets.

Done a quick re-calculation and without delving into it, I like what I see the whole plan looks a bit more varied now :+1:

Iโ€™m seeing something similar. When I select my plan with the intention of updating it, I see a message that says Iโ€™ve modified my plan therefore I cannot update it. Did support get back to you about whether this is a bug?

Nothing yet. The window for the update automatically pops-up when I go to my calendar and when I select to upgrade the plan, thatโ€™s when I get the error. Not a huge deal for now. As mentioned, Iโ€™m thinking it has something to do with modifications done to the training plan and/or the utilization of custom workouts. Hope it works for you soon!

Thank you very much @Jonathan and the TR Team! Having the progression levels will really help me deal with my impatience waiting for the AT Beta!

Anybody have an idea what the relative progression level decays are like over a recovery week, particularly for Sweet Spot and Threshold? Iโ€™m on a recovery week now, so Iโ€™m trying to assess where I should start my workouts next week.

My last Sweet Spot workout was 8.2 and my last Threshold workout was 5.9. Next weekโ€™s workouts coming up in my plan are 4.9 for Sweet Spot and 4.0 for Threshold, so probably a little too low for me.

@Jonathan FWIW, the weekly annotation text for SPBMV (and I would guess others) now refer to workouts that are no longer part of the plan.

anyone else get this when upgrading TR? Iโ€™m not sure I want to put a password in hereโ€ฆ!

Yes, I contacted support and they helped me get through it. In your keychain app, delete the password entries for TrainerRoad. That fixed it for me.

Thanks!

I deleted the application from my computer, installed the one found in the App Store (UI is lackluster on my MBA), and cleared the cache. Nothing worked.

Thanks for this tip!

I find it disturbing that Leconte only rates a 5.9 on the threshold scale.

Dumb question, are the plans all working with levels and AT or is it just those built with plan builder?

Just did a workout and saw no workout level info displayed. Program crashed as it was saving the workout. The workout was saved but there was nothing to grade the workout level.
