New H3 waiting at home. Anything I should know?

My Hammer H3 is waiting for me at home. I have a set of assioma duo, is there anything I need to know about my hardware combination or getting power match working well? I’m excited to get going and curious if the teething issues other users have experienced. Thank you!

  1. If you are using something other than the 130mm quick release, install the appropriate axle supports. Install your desired cassette.

  2. Check the firmware version and upgrade to the latest if needed.

  3. Then ride to warm up the trainer (typical 5-10 minutes in TR workouts) and perform a Spin Down Calibration. You can use the calibration in TrainerRoad or in the Saris app.

  4. If you plan to use a power meter and Power Match in TR, make sure you have the power meter and trainer paired, with Power Match set to “Auto”.

Everything Chad says and if your new to ERG mode - don’t let it freak you.

also the front wheel holder tray thing is stashed under the H3 (underneath)- it just clips out.

Thank you sir. My first ride was excellent with 0 issues. I’m excited to get deeper into smart training.
