Any mountin bikers out there willing to give some advice please!

Well, looking at the specs your choice is entirely dependant on how you plan to ride. Wanna go fast uphill and maybe race XC then the Trek. For general trail fun on more technical trails, the On One.

Right yeah, I’m just looking for a bike to do some fun riding nothing serious. Trails, gravel and general riding in the mud! Thanks for advice

The On-One.

The Trek has Boost141 rear hub with a QR, while the On-One has true Boost 148 spacing and a thru-axle.
Plus the On-One has a BSA bottom bracket.
