That’s not a bug. It’s a feature.
First interval is short enough (6min). Consider it as warmup
If you schedule a workout and don’t specify a time, it just defaults to 12:00AM.
Extend the warm up and manually adjust the intensity to get what you want. I do this on nearly all of my workouts as my old body needs 15-20 minutes to warmup properly, usually stepping up from 50-75% in 5% increments every three minutes.
