Lower FTP following a road season and CX base miles

Even though I’ve been doing regular 600-700 TSS weeks and good base riding with plenty of climbing, my last FTP test (20 minute) recorded low by 22W to 213. I actually feel I am riding well based upon group riding sessions at threshold or off road rides, so I put the lower FTP to almost total Outside riding and no regular racing for a month or so.
Is this normal for assessments between seasons?
Todays session (Pierce-1) - the start of Short Power Build-LV, using the lower FTP was completed “comfortably hard”, so will assess after a few more workouts.

Your FTP can keep changing throughout the year. My FTP in February was 315w. I had been doing the SSB high volume - 1 plan in December and January. After that I had been doing unstructured rides which were around 400 to 600 TSS/week. I did a ramp test today and found my FTP to be 276w. That is a 39w difference. I live in a hilly area so I had also been doing some short climbs on a regular basis. I think this is normal…
