Low or mid vol base 2

First forum post so forgive me if I don’t know all the terms.
Leisure cyclist with a goal of getting round the shorter route at Mallorca 312.
I used plan builder and have just finished the first block of LV Base with a 5% FTP increase (not sure if this is good or bad).
My question is should I continue with LV base 2 and add in an endurance spin to build miles at the weekends or try mid vol base and take one if those workout outside?

I think the official recommendation is when in doubt always choose the lower volume plan, stick with that and use train now to add in rides rather than skip rides in a higher volume plan

Option one. If you have to ask, always go with lower and add riding /workouts. When you can handle more volume, you KNOW. And also, lv + just riding is more fun
