I’m tracking more and more non-cycling related activities on my Garmin wearable that don’t pertain to what I want to do with Trainer Road. Is there a way to filter out every Garmin-recorded activity that isn’t cycling related? All I’ve been able to find is a global on/off switch for sharing activities, so I’m assuming no.
It’s not a big deal, but it’s cluttering up my Calendar. I can manually delete what is irrelevant, but I figured I’d see if there was a feature that was built in. Thanks.

I would love this feature too

I’d like this too.
If you go on a half-hour walk with the dog & upload it to strava because you’re going for some vanity metrics or if the dog photos make you popular with friends (it is a social medium after all), it shows up in TR anyway. Unless it’s over an hour or it’s an olympic-style walk it’s probably not going to impact fatigue etc. as related to cycling.
I’d suggest a series of checkboxes in the Account Settings tab to hide activities of a particular type, plus a checkbox on the month heading to quickly show/hide hidden activities.
Another way to clean up the calendar view could be a per-activity filter/minimise. Let’s say you do an hour on the trainer before work, cycle commute in Z1 to work, do a strength workout at lunch, then commute home again in Z1, that’s four activities, but only two of them are meaningful. Seems a lot of clutter.
For this it could be a checkbox in the drawer for each activity to minimise it in calendar view, where it just shows the activity type & duration on one line, & it’s done on a per-activity basis. I personally would be minimising things like walks, strength, & easy commutes.

No built-in filter, just the global on/off. You’ll have to keep deleting or un-starring manually. Only workaround is syncing “favorites only” from Garmin, but that takes extra steps. Definitely worth asking TR for a filter option.
