Just wondering I have moved on to a mid volume plan and wondering about the volume outside vs indoors? Will doing the training on the turbo inside be less beneficial than doing the workout outdoors?
At the moment i usually do the 3 of the workouts indoors and 2 outdoors. Sometimes this will be a recovery ride or intervals for the first part of a long ride before settling in for some Z2.
Only asking this as I have being reading a few bits online about getting out and putting more miles in is very good for overall strength and speed on the bike. Obviously these miles will be good miles and not just junk miles chasing high averages all the time. Any information would be great for this please.
