Incorrect TSS - duplicate ride issue?

Today, I did Truchas-3 outside, and my TSS number seems off.

TR says my TSS was 38/74 almost 50%, yet I hit all my interval numbers.

On Strava-sauce, it recorded my TSS as 73 for the ride. I’m curious what is causing the difference.

My phone or watch accidentally recorded some beginning miles and uploaded to Strava during my ride. I deleted that ride after I uploaded the ride from my Garmin, as not to double up ride time.

Did this mess with the TSS?
Any way for TR-AI to recalculate my ride now?

This looks like a visual bug of sorts.

If you highlight the entirety of your workout, the TSS shows up correctly.. :thinking:

The TSS is also missing in the weekly total

I’ve done some more digging, and it appears that this is a bug that we currently have a report open for.

While we can’t retroactively fix affected workouts easily, you could check the recording settings on your head unit to ensure that it is recording data every second. If data is recorded every second, you shouldn’t experience this issue moving forward.

For instance, on Garmin devices, turn off the “smart recording” feature.

As for that affected ride, you could manually add a simple activity with the TSS set to 49 to account for the TSS you’re missing.
