Hey all hope you all had good weekends!
This week for me was my monthly long ride, sadly we had gale force winds and rain so decided against the outside world in favour of wattopia, where the weather was perfect.
Can say I’m feeling the benefits of training. The first 90 minutes are now feeling great, feel strong, feel fresh and ready.
My pre ride nutrition feels like it’s doing it’s job too which is great
Second 90 minutes….not so much lol, i’m taking on carbs throughout but it’s just the limit of my fitness at the moment and I can live with that, it’s still massive improvement from when I started (for which the first 90 minutes was equally tough lol)
This was the most climbing I’ve done in a single ride too which I’m really pleased with.
