High calcium matters

Listening to the recent podcast, I think it was Alex who said that having high calcium is not a problem.
High calcium, especially in the form of supplements can be very damaging to the body. It can cause kidney stones, heart problems and even damaging build up in the brain.
If you don’t have health issues which increases calcium in the body (like hyperparathyroidism) I’m guessing it’s unlikely you can overdose on calcium through diet alone, but overdose through supplements can be a very real issue.

what podcast was this?

Pretty sure it was last weeks:

I haven’t listened to the podcast, but hopefully this isn’t confusion over calcium supplementation vs calcium-channel-signaling due to muscle contraction? Because I agree with @Bullseye that Ca supplementation is often not a great idea, even when you’d think that is,
