Hate iso-power intervals

Hey all,

Longer iso-power intervals annoy me and I find them harder to do than over unders or intervals with frequent change of pace.


10 minutes shooting at 300w (assume 300 FTP) consistent is doable but I hate it

10 minutes at 250/350 alternating is fine, I like it

Is it just a mental thing, or is it some aspect of fitness like muscular endurance?

Is it worth addressing by pounding away at it, or is it just how my body likes to deliver power?
