Fitness is stuck after a big level 2 block

Not only metric. I’m not knocking zone 2 at all Consistency is better, recovery is better, can hold power for longer easier but I’ve just got to a point where I’m no longer improving by any metric.

Based on a couple of my own non-scientific trials, I’d say 1-3 months to plateau if only doing aerobic endurance. How soon I plateau depends on several factors. Perhaps because of my physiology or other reasons I came to the conclusion “always be doing intensity” and then it’s about manipulating the intensity work. That ended up being beyond my self-coaching skills so I hired a coach.
