Just an update on my issues with the Favero pedals - I contacted their support and they are sending me out two new pedal bodies free of charge, which is nice. The pedals are still under warranty (barely). I have already bought two new pedal bodies but now at least I have two spares. I am sure I will wear them out anyway, the support guy said he never saw pedals bodies so worn 
. I use them a lot between multiple bikes.
