# Doing a TR workout in Zwift but at a meetup?

My club is planning a Zwift meetup today. Does anyone know if I can do my TR workout within that meetup? I ask because I would have to pay for Zwift again to join, which I would do if I know for certain it works.

Hey @macdian 🙂

Great question! Two of our colleagues came up with the idea of creating a Zwift MeetUp + loading and completing a scheduled TrainerRoad workout as a group during it ([context here](https://zwiftinsider.com/zwift-meetup-group-workouts/)).

Here is how it goes (in this case they both loaded a TR Workout to complete):

- Both of them scheduled _Dans_ in their TrainerRoad Calendars for today’s date.
- Their _Dans_ workouts pushed properly to Zwift.
- One of them created a Zwift Meetup session.
- Then invited the other to the Meetup to join.
- Once in the game, they selected _Dans,_ and it displayed in the top left corner of their Zwift screen
- When the timer finished, the Zwift Workout Player appeared at the top of their screen
  - Workout Player popped up.

- They started the workout together & finished the rides.
- After they saved their Zwift rides, **they synced back to TR and both auto-matched successfully**

While there are some bugs on Zwift’s side—such as not being able to stop pedaling or occasionally not being on the same screen after a few minutes—The important thing here is that TrainerRoad worked almost flawlessly.
