I am doing the low volume half ironman training plan. Currently in the build phase for my A race in September. Since COVID I have also been doing some longer trail runs (50Ks) and have signed up for another 50K in early July so that I don’t blow up my A race.
Does AT take into account additional run training mileage that I am going add in “above and beyond” what the HIM training plan suggests? If I start to build in some longer runs (getting up to 25 miles as part of the run build), will AT dial back the bike TSS to keep me from blowing up completely?
