they already have a FA build on their site with current colors

I hope SC understands and talks to Cervelo that they need to come up with a lighter frame to be competitive, Epic 8 and Yeti ASR of the top of my head are quite a bit lighter

Giro Imperial shoes are 50% off at Backcountry and affiliated sites…limited sizes for white, full size run for black.

The sale led me to do a quick Google search for other colors and I found the red option for even less at Amazon ($197).

100% agree. But if they keep to modern trends they will add a glove box and weight.

They keep selling us that “weight doesn’t matter.” And it probably matters less than I think it does, but there is a big difference in feel between a 27 pound XC bike and one that is 20. If a sugar rinse during the race is worth watts because it fools the brain, how much is a bike that feels fast worth?

I think about this all the time and it’s a really underappreciated discussion point.

I keep wondering what happened with the Cervelop ZFS. They created a new light frame that got good reviews, sold it for like a year and then discontinued. I wouldn’t be surprised if the new Blur is a refreshed ZFS.

In 80s color palette. Otherwise the SC logo won’t stick.

Also in MTB where you could constantly be picking up the front wheel or bunny hopping over things. You’d certainly notice a difference in the gym doing rows with a 20lb dumbbell and a 22.5lb dumbbell after like 15+ reps.

Similar to people saying a 150mm dropper is too much for XC racing because of the extra squatting distance to compress it over and over.

Weight at the detail level doesn’t matter. Large amounts of weight matter. On a bike you need to work the front and back, weight on the ends does matters .

Any positive or negative experiences with Lordgun? A google review shows a lot of negative issues

I’ve ordered from them a few times and never had a single issue. I bought my assioma’s from them as well as a bunch of tires. Orders usually arrive to the west coast in 4-5 shipping days.

I have ordered lots of things from Lordgun (including MX-2 pedals) and have had great experience with Lordgun.

Just chiming in too since I’ve had great experiences with the handful of orders I’ve placed. Usually get stuff delivered in 3-5 days (in northeast US).

I had the same question a couple months ago. The name, the site, and the discounts all just felt fishy. But a couple months ago ordered some tires and some ultegra 12 spd cassettes.

Everything came, no issues, no problems.

Any additional fees if shipped to the US? looks like you will pay a disclosed shipping amount, but no duties or extra fees?

I only paid the quoted price, nothing extra. Packages were delivered via UPS from Italy.

I think there may be a monetary threshold for import duties, but I never hit it. Before that SRAM ban of shipping to the IS from Italy I got a pair of Zipp 303s for around $700, no duties.
