Deals / Sales / Discounts for Fitness Stuff (2025)

I’ve had that Enve SES combo in my cart for over a month and the $800 pricetag and the inability to use the clip ons on my other bikes is killing me. I hope you absolutely love these bontragers. I’ll reach out for an update. Which size did you go with?

Went with the 37cm in the Bontragers, same as my current Enves. Figured I’d have 30 days to return the Bontragers if they don’t work out, and if they do I can probably sell the Enves to mostly offset the cost.

I’ll be curious if you find some other bars that’ll work for you. Narrow and aero is all the rage so I’m suprised there aren’t more options out there that’ll take clip ons!

20% off OrNot coming, Thursday, April 24th.

As I’m paying in GBP, I might struggle to hold back

Edit code is here:

I have the Enve SES combo sitting at home without a bike to put them on. If you’re looking for a deal. 120mm stem and 37cm bar. Only used for like a month. But yea, not aero extension compatible.

Back to the deals, anybody have any TT bike leads? I’ve been wanting to pull the trigger for a while on a TT/Tri bike and the imminent price increases have pushed me to making the purchase now. The Specialized Shiv is nice but expensive. I can get a deal on Argon 18 so maybe one of those. Any big deals out there right now?

Mikes Bikes has discounts on the the Cervelo P5 and P-series (both full builds and framesets. You have to click on the ‘email for price’ link but I think it is 10-15% depending on which option you get

Was looking at Ribble bikes to see if the new gravel rig had dropped. It hasn’t, but was curious about the sport build, especially after I saw this

However, when in checkout it went back to normal pricing.

You could message them to see what’s going on.

Specialized had a sale going but it ended April 30th, now everything is more expensive

$499 sworks recon
$3400 roval world cup

Looks like price increase across the board

Epic 8 bikes/frames seem stable price wise.

looks like just the sworks went up $200

Hah, missed that. I guess their margin on a $15k bike must be too low.

When I bought my epic 8 expert last year, list price was $7k and it’s dropped $500 since then. I have no idea what’s happening on the cost side for specialized, but they can’t just raise prices on their bikes unless they want to sell less of them. This isn’t covid when there was a demand spike.

Those price drops are on bikes 1-2 years old. 2026 is on the way… my guess is those will see the price increase. They also said the price increase would be a separate line item. Though… those bikes are already here so adding on tariff fee that didn’t pay tariffs would be shady.

@mcneese.chad Is there a Tariff thread this discussion can be moved to?

There’s lots of tariff talk here: GCN Tech Show - The tariff tantrum, and the effects on the bike industry and riders

I’ll bet they are trying to cover costs of other bikes by moving the ones that aren’t price sensitive first

So is Specialized both increasing the prices but then still adding the additional 10% line item across the board?

I managed to beat the tariffs and price increases on the recent S-Works EPIC FA build I did. A month later and seemingly it would have been a lot more.

Yeah, I’d say continued discussion in the link provided by Pbase is the best place.

Last comment then I’ll stick to the other thread… but it looks like any new model frame or bike has a line item. For instance the Sworks at $14,500 has a a note that $500 will be added to the cost. $350 for the new Pro version. It is scaled down for the lower priced bikes.

This year’s and prior models do not have that note.

Seems that bug is happening for other SL models as well. I emailed them to see if that is a bug or not. Quite a great deal if it is intentional, but I’m guessing it is a mistake.

I emailed them asking about it and said they would not honor the ‘mistake’ on pricing. It’s been well over a week later and it’s still happening.
