This is to be a pretty cheap build. Ideally selling my old frame/fork/wheels/brakes/shifters etc, would make the outlay to upgrade only a few hundred dollars. This would be a good way to use up disc parts I have too.
Happy to get an older model, happy to get used. Just not excited by a used Allez Sprint frame only for $1200 when the complete bike was only $2k when new.
I’m thinking a frame that would be on a bike that retails (as a complete bike) in that low $2k to $3k mark, like Specialized Allez Sprint. I thought the rim brake domane alloy was under $400 on clearance. So I guess I’m hopeful that someone spots a similar deal, maybe up to $700/800, for a similarly nice disc frame.
That Time frame looks pretty amazing though, very tempting, but just too much money.
