How do I best accommodate a ride to work. I have about 8 km to work, almost completely flat and I drive a maximum of z2. When driving home, I do my workout via a detour. So far, I have ignored the ride. Should I rather enter it as a free ride at trainerroad? Does that affect my workout in the afternoon?
If you record your rides and sync them with TR, just record it as a separate ride. AI will see it and account for it in adapting your plan. I have a TR plan going, but of late I’ve just been doing unstructured outdoor rides since the wx has been ridiculously nice. My plan keeps going and adapting based on those unstructured rides. I don’t need to do anything other than sync them with TR. I also don’t bother to delete the scheduled workouts I don’t do.

As @Saddlesaur mentioned, just upload the ride file and TR will take it into account and adjust the scheduled workouts if needed. No need to take any extra steps ![]()
