This is so true it’s actually scary …
Well that’s the new business plan for anyone unlucky enough to have been made redundant
Which funnily enough is actually happening to me later this year.
Couple of riding buddies have already suggested dates they want “picking up”
Still less, compared to if you were to return with a girl, named Chlamydia.
When I see a cyclist or cyclists clearly enjoying a cafe stop and I don’t have one scheduled on my ride.

Or a runner
I was at a charity ride (not race) last year. Going up a hill, mountain, whatever you want to call it (any incline that lasts for more than 60 seconds is a mountain when you’re from Florida), this guy passed me.
Then I passed him on the descent.
He passed me again on the next up. And I passed him again on the descent.
I was wondering what was going on until, as he passed me on the third up, I heard, “wheeeeeeee.” Then I chuckled to myself.
