Club run and TR

Good evening,

Sure this has been covered before but I’m wondering how to fit in the Saturday club run into a TR programme? Do I replace or use in addition?


Generally, “replace” is the safe answer. IF, that is a reasonable substitution with respect to Intensity, Duration, and overall Stress.

You can possibly add, but that depends on your total stress and recovery time. But starting with a a replacement is the best place to start. You can see how it goes and evaluate for future options.
