Best way to extend a TR workout in Zwift with 30' "real" Endurance and all syncing and matching correctly?

Hello,

All is in the title…

By example, tomorrow, I’m going to do Rock Lake (Sweet Spot 4.3) in Zwift and I’ll like to extend this one with a 30’ Endurance TR workout, all in the same Zwift session.

I’ll like TR sync and match the entire session with the SS workout…

What’s the best way to do that ?

Thanks.

There is currently no way of getting one zwift ride to sync with two workouts - the whole session will be synced to the first workout.

If you want the endurance workout to sync separately then you have to save the session in zwift before starting the second one.

You are probably better off just riding the 30mins extra (either as part of the sweetspot session or separately) and not worry about linking it to anything.

Yep. :backhand_index_pointing_up:

I personally wouldn’t worry about using a TR workout for that last 30 minutes of endurance. Just riding easy will get you all you need in this situation.

Was there something else specifically you were hoping to achieve by doing this?

I just wanted a 30’ Endurance in ERG mode (or Recovery) in the same activity… It’s not so easy to ride easy in Zwift depending the route where you are… But I can load a new workout in a new Zwift session too, even if it’s not I hoped…

I did that in TR by extending the cooldown of the workout and playing with the power, but I think it’s no more possible in Zwift ?

I think the easiest thing to do here would be to simply switch to ERG mode after your TR workout ends. Then you can simply adjust the resistance to whatever you want the power target to be and pedal until your heart’s content.
