Best protocol before 20ktt

Hi what in your opinion is best protocol last few days if training before 20k TT training wise i don’t like to take days off before race because I feel a little off
For example
Race is on Sunday
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday normal training schedule
Friday off
Saturday 20min @60% than 3x5 minutes at race power target with 5 minutes rest and another 20min @60% what are your thoughts or this subject

I would usually do our Thursday night club TT before a Saturday open. Depending on what I could get out of the Saturday TT, I might ease back the Thursday club TT. More often than not though I would go just as hard on Thursday as Saturday. If I felt I didn’t recover well though I’d drop the Thursday intensity more.
