Apple Fitness Core

When I do Apple Fitness core workouts, what is TR taking from those? It looks like just an HR trace?

Would I be better off trying to figure out an approximation of the reps?

If you’re talking about tracking them as strength training, bear in mind TR’s guidelines are to only track reps that take you to, or close to failure. For core, I doubt that’s relevant

Hey @Yep

TrainerRoad is only pulling in the heart rate data. It’s not reading rep counts or set structure from that sync.

On manually logging an approximate rep count, I’d skip that one. Our Working Sets logging is built around sets taken to (or within 1-2 reps of) failure and a core session usually isn’t structured as to-failure sets, so logging estimated reps there could end up telling TR the workout was harder than it actually was, which isn’t what you want.
