I had a number of things get messed up with the android app on today’s workout.

1. This has happened in previous rides as well, but the longer a workout goes on the less responsive the intensity buttons get. Adjusting by one or two percent within the first hour seems to be no problem. Adjusting by one or two percent at the three hour mark is quite a bit harder. The display just skips numbers entirely or decides to it’ll just keep adjusting continuously until you click it again. And no, it’s not an issue with wet hands or sweat on the display.

2. The app has started to get weird after workouts. Post workout I’ll leave the phone on the charger, answer the survey, then go and clean up my bike/bottles/myself and whatnot. The phone will have turned off the screen by the time I get back. When I turn it back on it goes to the “Analyzing Workout” page, but doesn’t animate and it seems to take way longer than needed. As I hit the back button to get out of the app it just ends up cycling endlessly between the calendar page and the Analyzing Workout (each time taking the full longer than maybe needs to be wait period) page and never actually backs out of the app.

3. Today’s workout had all sorts of issues with stopped time. It put the stopped time in the final pic that got uploaded to strava (NOW EVERYONE KNOWS MY SECRET!), but the line part of the graph didn’t have the stopped time so everything in the picture got sorta desynced.

4. That same ride also included the stopped time when it uploaded to strava, but also only uploaded up to the workout duration of effort. Which means it cut off the final bits of my workout in the upload which also happened to be right in the middle of a threshold interval.
Also kind of interesting that the watts are zeroed during the paused time, the hrm still reads true, and the cadence just holds whatever number it had right when I paused it.

So, the last three issues are all probably somewhat related and could have been a fluke for this one particular workout. I haven’t yet noticed a pattern with them. But the first two have been happening for awhile now. Phone is a Samsung XCover6 Pro if that info is needed.
