I recently altered my main event from a 50 mile race pace Gravel event, to an overnight 177 mile endurance event. I was supposed to have a rest week of three endurance rides next week (low volume plan) but since changing the event that rest week is gone, now it has more intense efforts. I’ve been on this plan since mid November and changed my event plan a week ago.
Should I take the rest week any way and then let the plan adapt from there?
