Trying an AI training plan for the first time and I’m wondering what’s the best way to skip a rest week? Only doing 6 weeks of training prior to an event and the volume is reasonable so I’m comfortable going right up to the taper week beforehand. (Over a decade of using TR, I know what my body can / can’t do)

Best to just pick alternative sessions on the day based on feel, or is there a way of telling the AI in advance that I’m not going to reduce the intensity as much as it intended? Thanks.

You could use TrainNow for the days you want to do intervals. Just do the work and let the AI do it’s thing.

I was wondering about that, but wasn’t sure if TrainNow would take into consideration that it’s supposed to be a rest week.

If I were in your situation, I would consider a mini-recovery week (e.g. 3-4 days) just to be safe.

For the remaining days I would copy the workouts from the preceding (or following) week and let the AI have a first go at picking the workouts (while deleting the workouts that were previously there).
