8 Week Winter Power Build

Hi all -

New to TrainerRoad & looking for some direction. I am finishing a 70.3 training block at the end of October & am picking it back up in January for IM70.3 Chattanooga next May. I would like to spend 8 weeks or so in between building power on the bike.

Chattanooga has about 2200 ft of elevation gain & is considered rolling on the IM website. Is picking “rolling road race” in the target discipline my best bet for increasing FTP & prepping for some punchy hills before picking full tri training back up again?
