Long answer- a GC rider whose domestiques get eliminated due to time cut should be at a disadvantage versus a GC rider whose entire team can make said cut.
UCI can change the rule but until then, it’s cheating.

I completely agree with this statement. Cycling is a team sport and if your teammates are getting a tow then it makes it easier for them to assist the team leader to win. In my opinion, if they get caught they should be pulled from the race to weaken the team benefitting from such actions.
