{"id":29831,"date":"2018-12-29T04:27:05","date_gmt":"2018-12-29T12:27:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.trainerroad.com\/?p=29831"},"modified":"2018-12-28T17:03:25","modified_gmt":"2018-12-29T01:03:25","slug":"plan-improvements-short-general-and-sustained-build","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.trainerroad.com\/blog\/plan-improvements-short-general-and-sustained-build\/","title":{"rendered":"Plan Improvements: Short, General, and Sustained Build!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Last week we mentioned that we&#8217;re using data from millions of rides to help <a href=\"https:\/\/forum.trainerroad.com\/t\/our-training-plans-are-improving\/7855\">improve our training plans<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;ve already updated <a href=\"https:\/\/forum.trainerroad.com\/t\/sweet-spot-base-ii-low-mid-volume-changes\/7853\/2\">Sweet Spot Base I\/II Mid and Low <g class=\"gr_ gr_4 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Style multiReplace\" id=\"4\" data-gr-id=\"4\">Volumes <\/g><\/a><g class=\"gr_ gr_4 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear Style multiReplace\" id=\"4\" data-gr-id=\"4\">.<\/g>  This week, we&#8217;ve made changes to our build plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How do I update a plan on the calendar to reflect these changes?<\/strong><br>There are two types of changes: Workout updates and workout changes.  You don&#8217;t have to do anything for in place workout changes, they are automatically reflected on your calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Workout Updates<\/strong><br>We&#8217;ve tweaked some of our workouts to get you faster.  For the <g class=\"gr_ gr_9 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation only-ins replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"9\" data-gr-id=\"9\">workouts<\/g> we&#8217;ve done this to you don&#8217;t have to do anything.  If they are already on your calendar they will automatically update.<br><br>You view a full list of workouts that have updated <a href=\"https:\/\/forum.trainerroad.com\/t\/plan-improvements-short-general-and-sustained-build\/8413\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Workout&nbsp;Change<\/strong><br>We&#8217;ve switched out some of the workouts on our plans with different workouts.  You can view these changes in our build plan <a href=\"https:\/\/forum.trainerroad.com\/t\/plan-improvements-short-general-and-sustained-build\/8413\">changelog<\/a>.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you see something like this, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trainerroad.com\/cycling\/workouts\/1582\">Junction<\/a> \u2014&gt; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trainerroad.com\/cycling\/workouts\/453924-junction-1\">Junction -1<\/a> in the <a href=\"https:\/\/forum.trainerroad.com\/t\/plan-improvements-short-general-and-sustained-build\/8413\">changelog<\/a> then that&#8217;s a workout change.  <br><br>If you want to change your current plan to reflect these workout changes you have two choices:<br> 1) Remove the plan from your calendar and re-add it<br> 2) Find the specific workouts we changed and update those manually<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can view a full list of changes in this <a href=\"https:\/\/forum.trainerroad.com\/t\/plan-improvements-short-general-and-sustained-build\/8413\">change log<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Moving&nbsp;Forward<\/strong><br>Our next plans to update will be our Road Race plans.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;ll continue this process for the rest of our plans.
