It makes it super easy to schedule that repeating group ride or the Friday TR workout that you always do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Adding a Recurring Workout<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Here&#8217;s my current calendar. Let&#8217;s say I want to fill in all of those Friday&#8217;s with an easy recovery workout that I made with our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trainerroad.com\/download\">Workout Creator<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/discourse-cdn-sjc1.com\/business5\/uploads\/trainerroad\/optimized\/2X\/b\/bd5a54fe7eb8ac4fe1322112602c0b65fc5be2fb_1_689x500.png\" alt=\"image\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/discourse-cdn-sjc1.com\/business5\/uploads\/trainerroad\/optimized\/2X\/a\/ab86f1a6aae18a74170d491f53f87eb47f4329b9_1_558x500.png\" alt=\"image\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I click on the day to add a workout like normal but now have a new &#8220;repeating&#8221; option.<br>\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recurring Workout Options<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I have five options for repeating workouts: Does not repeat, daily, weekly, monthly or custom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/discourse-cdn-sjc1.com\/business5\/uploads\/trainerroad\/optimized\/2X\/2\/2d6838f229dbeeb3300137097f2e405933155588_1_542x500.jpeg\" alt=\"image\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>For this workout, I&#8217;ll just choose weekly.  It will now repeat on my calendar until I choose to remove it.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/discourse-cdn-sjc1.com\/business5\/uploads\/trainerroad\/optimized\/2X\/4\/441acc600921a6d2bde108aae32e61e155920b40_1_607x500.png\" alt=\"image\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Deleting Recurring Workout Series<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To remove it I can click on any of the workouts and click Delete.  I have the option to delete just that activity or that activity and future uncompleted activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/discourse-cdn-sjc1.com\/business5\/uploads\/trainerroad\/original\/2X\/a\/ab2e355775585f446fc71caad213d13be2b7398e.png\" alt=\"image\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Custom Recurring Workout Option<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also choose &#8220;custom&#8221; which gives you even more control.  You can have workouts repeat every three days, every other week, once a month, etc.  You can also specify when a repeating workout ends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is pretty neat.  Here I can say that this workout repeats every three weeks on Tuesday and Friday and will do this three times before it doesn&#8217;t schedule any future workouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The custom section is powerful and should let you do exactly what you want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/discourse-cdn-sjc1.com\/business5\/uploads\/trainerroad\/optimized\/2X\/4\/4b4620b6783d07e42712eee1b070b4a34240e651_1_563x500.png\" alt=\"image\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Outside Rides can be Recurring too!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Have a Saturday <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trainerroad.com\/blog\/cycling-group-rides-a-guide-to-etiquette-pacelines-drafting-and-safety\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"68983\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">group ride<\/a> that you like to do? You can also make those group rides &#8220;recurring&#8221; and have them show up on your calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Moving, Pulling, Pushing, Copying, Etc<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you move a workout around it, get&#8217;s &#8220;de-linked&#8221; from the recurring activity.  This is how other calendars work (like Google Calendar), and it feels very natural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s it!
